
That’s right, another year has come around and that means another year’s worth of games have been released! With all the great new games out this year, it can be tricky to find the right one for your gamer so here’s a list of some of our favorites this year.
Now, not all of these games are new this year, it’s basically impossible to be on top of every game that comes out in a year. With that said, here are some of our favorites that we discovered this year!
Reef Route – Brain Games

Hive Mind – Calliope Games

Welcome to Hive Mind, a new game from Calliope Games where players take on the role of a worker bee in an overcrowded hive. In order for the queen to figure out who stays and who goes, players must answer questions in the hopes that other players have the same answer so they can stay in the hive!
Ghost Fightin’ Treasure Hunters! – Mattel
Recommended Age: 8+
Players: 2-4

Ghost Fightin’ Treasure Hunters is a great new co-operative treasure-hunting game from Mattel. Players must work together to get the treasure and escape from the haunted house before the house is overwhelmed with ghosts. It’s completely co-operative and players win or lose as a team – planning and teamwork is the only way win!
Macroscope – Mayday Games

Players: 2-6

Use the Macroscope to guess the hidden picture! With each roll of the dice another small window is opened and another piece of the picture is revealed. Be the first to guess right to score points, the fewer the windows opened the better! Macroscope comes with an actual chipboard device you assemble along with 400 images to guess!
Mole Rats in Space – Peaceable Kingdom

The Mole Rats are hard at work on their space station when suddenly the snakes attack! Work together to help the Mole Rats retrieve all of their’ gear and get off the space station before it’s too late. Climb ladders, slide down tubes and stay away from those snakes!
Wazabi – Gigamic

Wazabi seems like a simple game where all you need to do is be the first to get rid of your dice. But there’s a catch – the fewer dice you have, the harder it is to get rid of them. With dice and cards being constantly moved between players your luck can change in an instant, for better or for worse.
