My husband and I get to see what it will is like to be a monkey on September 21st! Ok not exactly like a monkey but we will be having an adventure in the trees complete with zip lining! Go Ape takes you on an amazing Tree Top Adventure!
Let me first say that I am afraid of heights. Not afraid like I can’t move and I freeze up afraid, but pretty scared of heights. I went up in a balloon and my daughter was excited while I was gripping the bars saying “yeah honey, that’s great.” as she pointed out many things nearly 300 feet below us. With that being said I am still excited to try this adventure.
I never let my fears stop me from doing anything so I WILL go up and enjoy myself…while also being afraid. It should be good for me and it will be fun once I get used to being up there. My husband is thrilled and my kids wish they could do up too. They will be there watching and cheering us on for a bit though. We live in Indy so we will be going to the Eagle Creek Park adventure…I knew they had a beach but had NO idea this was there!
“Go Ape’s first treetop adventure course (zip lines, obstacles and more!) in the Midwest, is set within one of the largest municipal parks in the entire USA, Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. With over 3,900 acres of land and almost 1,400 acres of water, Eagle Creek is big, bold and beautiful.
The course is surrounded by endless amounts of activities such as sailing and boat rentals, 22 miles of hiking trails, 2 nature centers, 2 retreat centers, a fitness course, TONS of picnic areas and shelters, a swimming beach, state nature preserves, cross-country skiing paths, waterfowl sanctuary and even a shooting range.”
Sounds fun and beautiful! I am scared and excited all at the same time! I will be sure to take pictures and video but don’t mind my screaming…Check out the website to see if there is a Go Ape park in your area and send me pictures of your adventure!
