These things are amazing! They look like Lego bricks..work like (and work with) Lego bricks but they transform mini figures, action figures, weapons, gear, gadgets and more! We discovered these at (NOPE! not Gen Con) the Great Chicago Toy & Game Fair 2013 and have not stopped playing with them. I mean…my son hasn’t stopped playing with them. Seriously though what is cooler than a transformer that is and works with Legos!
I cannot believe we have never heard of these before! We are ALWAYS looking in the Lego aisles but until recently never came across them before. They are only recently available in stores so that explains it but you can now find them in Target, Toys R Us and Wal-Mart in or near the Legos. They are recommended for ages 8-14 but let’s face it…any adult who likes Lego will love these and any kid who plays with Lego can play with these.
Their video should explain how they work since I’m not sure I really can beyond they transform from a brick to a guy. Which is sooo cool!
Awesome right?! My son loves these things and several of his friend’s parents have us to thank for new items on their child’s wish list. The little ones start off as bricks but you can transform them into various characters. The bigger ones also transform into various characters but start out as a larger brick. This one sort of resembles about 8 2×6 bricks put together before it can transform.
One of the main characters from the web show is Bravenwolf. I haven’t had a chance to check out the show yet but he looks pretty cool. Here is the character bio and info on him to give you an idea about the anime series and the transformation possibilities.

That’s right 100% compatible with LEGO!! Other leading construction systems too which I assume means Kreo and Mega Blocks (we like those too) which is cool but Lego is the selling point for us. My husband has passed on his legos to our children and the other types don’t work as well with Lego which means my kids don’t have as much fun as they could. Ionix is the favorite “brick” in our house at the moment and Santa has already been asked for larger sets.

These are still fairly new and not too expensive either but the mini figs do come with small parts that can and do come off. That might be the only negative thing about them because they are well built and fantastic. One of ours lost an arm and a sword during a car ride but the Gentleman said he lost both in battle and now he needs to use his other arm to fight. Love the imagination! Which would be why I love toys like this. The only limitation on how you play with these toys is your own imagination, making the possibilities endless and hours of fun!
