Little Passports is a monthly subscription that can send you either the World or the USA in a box each month. How awesome is that! Ok not the WHOLE world or anything but each month they send you information, activity sheets, a souvenir, letters from Sam and Sophia (the kids who go on magical adventures into these places) and stickers. All of that each month on different countries…how could you NOT be excited!
We started homeschooling back in November and I feel like I am constantly trying to find new fun ways to teach my kids about…well everything. My son is doing 1st grade work now and I was not sure how I was going to teach him about Geography…then I heard about Little Passports from a Homeschool group on FaceBook.
I am not sure who was more excited this existed…my son or myself! Probably me since I am now an affiliate with them but then again my son won’t stop talking about it so maybe him…
The first thing you get is a little Blue Suitcase, a passport for your child, a wall-sized world map, a welcome letter from new pen pals Sam & Sofia, stickers, photo and activity sheet, and you get access to online games in the Boarding Zone which enhance their learning.
The countries they cover are Brazil, Japan, France, Egypt, Australia, Mexico, South Africa, Indian, England, China, Argentina, Russia, Israel, Thailand, Ireland, Kenya, Spain, Antarctica, Canada, Italy, Iceland, Poland, Turkey, and there are even more coming!
That is a LOT of countries and each month comes with letters from Sam & Sofia your new pen pals, fun souvenirs, activity sheets, stickers for your suitcase, passport & map, photos, access to Boarding Zone for more online games. This is all my son is talking about…when is he going to get his suitcase and learn about the world. My daughter heard this and now wants her own.
Luckily Little Passports has a Junior version for kids ages 3-5 that comes with its own little Orange Suitcase and a separate set of pen pals. This is amazing since they will each have their own AND the suitcases are different colors. Again…not sure who is more excited but it might just be me.
The Early Explorers will cover a lot of things about the world as well. Kids will learn about landmarks, music, animals, food, art, natural wonders, oceans, world coins, space, world discoveries, and even dinosaurs! This is perfect as she prepares for Kindergarten!
If you are looking for ways to enhance your homeschool curriculum or just a fun way to teach your child about the world or the USA Little Passports is a fantastic choice! I cannot wait to see what the suitcase looks like in person and all the fun stuff that will come! Expect another post after we get the suitcase!
